Remembering Your Loved Ones During The Holidays & Watching For Signs From Them
Honoring those on the Other Side & my story of missing a big sign(s) from my mother!
However you celebrate the holidays: alone, with a few family/friends or with a large gathering, you get to choose how you want to remember and honor your loved ones who have passed away. Please know, whether you hang a special ornament on the Christmas tree, cook/bake a traditional family cookie/favorite meal, or simply set a place at the dinner table in their honor, they see and appreciate the love you send them.
And, don’t forget to be open to receiving signs from your loved ones while you gather and celebrate the holidays! Sometimes, it’s a small sign, like a whiff of their favorite perfume or cologne, a fleeting thought of them as you’re baking, or seeing them smile in your mind as you hang the stockings.
Other times, it’s a big sign, like being gifted some unexpected money from someone with the same name or who knew your loved one, especially if your loved one was the provider for the family. Or, finding just the right present for someone at the last minute, knowing you were guided to go to that store or mention it to a stranger who just happened to know where to find the item.
And yet other times, it can be multiple signs. Our loved ones can be very creative! In this 2018 episode of my old radio show, Messages From The Other Side, I tell the story of how I missed the signs my mom was sending me. Yup, I did. I was so busy baking for the first Christmas after she passed away in 2009, …well, listen in as I tell my story.
However your loved ones connect with you, know they are saying, “hello!” and sending their love to you. The signs can be subtle or dramatic. It’s up to us to see or sense them and to acknowledge them…and remember, no one else needs to agree with you. If it brings you comfort, and you feel or know it was your loved one saying hello, then that’s all that matters.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 🕎 🎄 ☮️
Sending you healing wishes, love and light. ❤️ 🕯 ❤️
