Times like these, we need to tap into our ancestors' courage, strength & love.
This is from David Rothkopf’s 6-tweet thread (which continues here),
Watch what's happening in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Idaho & other red states that are rapidly becoming fascist dystopias--denying women, people of color, voters, retirees, families, and children their rights. This is America's nightmare now. ~David Rothkopf
It's times like these when I wish I had more clients, so I could tap into the love and support families share. These connections help keep me balanced and grounded. They give me hope, & make me feel useful. If I can help one person find their courage, their strength, their love (of Self, of others), I know it will have a ripple effect within their family and community. And, that positive ripple effect, is what we need right now.
During readings, your loved ones on the Other Side (or guides/angels/whomever—I call them, collectively, Spirit), always bring up an issue or challenge you may be facing:
to let you know they still exist, just in another form (of energy);
to let you know they are aware of what is happening in your life;
to help you, to support you in any way they can;
to reassure you that you are not alone.
So, one thing I know for certain, is our loved ones on the Other Side (both recent and long gone), support us in every positive action we take: for ourselves, for our families, for our community. Call on them for help in understanding, for courage, strength, & perseverance. Call on them to tap into their love of life and/or laughter, too!
Remember your ancestors now, whether they are your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, siblings, uncles or aunts, or even great-uncles & great-aunts! Remember those who had the courage & strength to persevere against all odds: loss of jobs, or family, or home, or country.
It could be your great-grandmother who immigrated to America with four young children while her husband stayed in their native country, or was killed in war, or simply ran off and she ended up running a boarding house, or a restaurant. Or, a grandfather who started a business in America despite the prejudice against him and his family. Remind yourself, you come from a strong line of survivors.
And, there’s always at least one member of your family, from your ancestry who has survived great loss, great challenges, and then, has thrived. You are proof of that. It’s times, like we find ourselves in today, when we need to connect with them the most. Call on them for help, call on them for guidance. They are listening, and they are with you, every step of the way. ❤️
Breathe deeply…and focus on the beauty.
